Every VisibleU member will prepare an IMAP as it is the foundation for successful Internet Marketing according to VisibleU. It is where you will make all your informed decisions and document your plan for success. You will notice that it has the word “Action” in it. This is not a static document that you prepare and then put on a shelf. The IMAP is the plan and the process you follow throughout the year. It is the plan you execute continuously and update every quarter.
The IMAP is the difference between guessing what might work and making an informed decision about what will work. Nothing is static on the Internet and your plan and management of it must also be flexible and able to measure what is working now and what changes should be made to keep things working in the future. The IMAP has been designed to guide you through the steps needed to assess your current position, identify and prioritize the Internet Marketing tools you will employ and then to analyze, assess and manage your ongoing plan.
The plan allows you to perform certain functions in-house and recognizes that you may want to hire third party vendors for other functions. The IMAP helps you make informed decisions and know if they are working. The IMAP is the missing link to Internet success for small business.
